Kolams
I love kolams, can forget my schooling days specially Marghazi masam..we used to put rangoli with colour powder earlier in the morning..but now its kinda hard to put kolams here...its too hard to get kolapodi too..i put kolams with rice flour eventhough its too hard to put...

Hi priya, nice handwork collections. When my kids vaccation comes i am going to ask her ot make something by following your instructions.WE also put kolams in Marghai masam, now in flats even though i cant put big ones , i will foloow atleast somewhat big.Thanks for stopping by my blog and comment
I live in U.S and do the same on festivals. There is a trick in making rice flour easy to draw with. Dry roast it for a few minutes in moderate tawa. It sort of looses its stickiness and you can use it for kolam. HTH.
